The Coach & Horses
WELCOME HOME
Perfect pints, proper pub grub and a warm Yorkshire welcome – there’s a reason we’re Harrogate’s favourite local.
Serving Harrogate since 1827
For nearly two centuries, our pub has been a popular local hangout – and we’re proud to keep that tradition alive today. With a classic food and drink menu that’s loved by regulars and new faces alike, we serve up proper Yorkshire hospitality in a place full of character.
Following a recent renovation, The Coach & Horses still holds onto its historic charm – with a few fresh touches and a friendly team ready to welcome you in. So bring the family, round up your friends (dogs included), and make yourself at home. We’ll see you soon.
What’s coming up
From exclusive menus to weekly poker nights, there are plenty of reasons to get together and stay for another at The Coach & Horses.
Our events happen throughout the week, so if it’s a midweek catch-up or a weekend celebration you’re looking for, you’re in the right place.
Recreating the good times in a pub that knows how

Gather round and celebrate
We love a good do. So, if you’re planning an intimate gathering or relaxed celebration, bring it to The Coach & Horses. We’ll handle the lot - the food, drink and anything in between, so you can crack on and celebrate.

Yorkshire’s best hospitality
It’s not just the pub that keeps regulars coming back - it’s our people. We’re a friendly, passionate bunch who love a good natter. But if you’re after a bit of quiet, we get that too. Sometimes a pint’s best enjoyed in peace.

End your night in luxury
The Coach & Horses is in central Harrogate, located just a few doors down from our very own West Park Hotel. Award-winning - and deservedly so. Indulgent comfort with plenty of space to rest your head after a night at our pub.

Yes. There are a few steps to access the building, but we’ll provide a ramp so your wheelchair can get in. We also have an accessible toilet on the ground floor.
When do you serve food?
We serve our food at the following times:
Monday – Friday: 12 noon – 2:30pm, 5pm – 8pm
Saturday: 12 noon – 8pm

Do you have baby changing facilities?
Yes, we have changing facilities in our toilets. We also have highchairs if your little one wants to join in for a meal.
